Cassel voided his contract last month making him a free-agent. While there were reports suggesting the Texans would pursue Cassel, Vikings HC Mike Zimmer made no secret of how he felt on Thursday. "I would love to have Matt Cassel back if Matt Cassel wants to be back," Zimmer said. "I don't know if that will happen or won't happen. But we're going to find a quarterback somewhere. ... If Matt wants to come back, I'm sure that we'll get it worked out. ..." Looks like they have. It will be interesting to see if Adrian Peterson, who went public with his belief that acquiring Michael Vick would
instantly make the Vikings a playoff contender, approves.
