The Facts:
In their continuing search for a fullback for their West Coast offense, the Vikings made a pitch Monday for Richardson, who said he left team headquarters with a contract offer. He also said he would take the night to sleep on it before making a decision today.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Richardson, who hinted last week that he was getting closer to an agreement with Kansas City, apparently isn't that close. The Vikings, who didn't use a fullback as a regular part of their offense the past four season, signed former Ram Joey Goodspeed early in the offseason. They also pursued William Henderson last week, but he re-signed with the Packers.
