The Facts:
The New York Jets are returning to a more run oriented offense in 2014 in an attempt to exploit their strengths and lessen the load on Smith. I’m told the game plan is to try and keep Smith under 20 passes per game.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
This according to TFY Draft insider Tony Pauline, who went on to explain that part of the plan is to keep continuity on the offensive line, which is viewed as a strength. The same probably can't be said of Smith, who has yet to earn the full confidence of those in charge. And going with a "ground and pound" approach isn't out of character for HC Rex Ryan, who met considerable success using a run-first offense and strong defense to reach a pair of AFC title games with Mark Sanchez at the helm. It makes sense to try it again.
