Wilson previously suggested the team
is interested in Steve Smith of the Carolina Panthers if he is released. So it appears the goal will be finding a possession-type receiver to pair with Torrey Smith. Edelman would be a major upgrade on what the Ravens had in the slot last season, but as the Redzone.org noted, it's anyone's guess as to how effective he'd be outside of the Patriots' system.
