Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The former first-round draft pick has suffered numerous injuries during his time as a pro. And while there's no denying he's an explosive threat, his 3.3 yard average in each of the last two seasons doesn't show it. Perhaps that's why he's returning to Oakland. As the Redzone.org notes, the free-agent market for veteran backs is dead. The signing of McFadden may mean that the Raiders are giving up on retaining RB Rashad Jennings, who was the team's leading rusher in 2013. The Giants have reportedly made Jennings an offer. Stay tuned. More as developments warrant.
