There's no urgency on the Packers' part to add to their receiving corps, but the opportunity to examine a speedster the size of Boerigter was too hard to pass up. Mike McCarthy invited the 6-foot-3, 220-pound Boerigter in for a visit Monday, and although it might be too early to predict a match, it was an intriguing meeting for both sides.

The Packers recently re-signed 6-2, 213-pound Rod Gardner to a one-year deal, adding him to a group that includes Donald Driver, Robert Ferguson, Javon Walker and Terrence Murphy. Boerigter would have to weigh the odds of whether Walker (contract issues) and Murphy (neck) will be on the roster when training camp begins before he makes a move.
