The Giants declined to tender him an offer as a restricted free agent, which would have cost them $1.431 million. He then took a visit to Detroit, but ultimately chose to come back. As PFT notes, with running back Rashad Jennings coming on board, along with the returning Peyton Hillis and a significant investment in free agent guard Geoff Schwartz, the Giants have committed some resources to the running game.
