Report: James Starks Expected To Re-Sign With Packers
(3/17 10:8 PT)

The Facts:
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Packers are now expected to bring back Starks on a two-year contract. Schefter adds the deal considered imminent. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Starks returns to a crowded backfield led by Eddie Lacy, who was everything the team envisioned as a rookie. That said, Starks did provide a change-of-pace complement to Lacy with 493 rushing yards and a potent average of 5.5 yards per carry. Also in the mix are Johnathan Franklin, a fourth-round draft pick last year, and DuJuan Harris, who was a key contributor late in the 2012 season. He was felled by knee complications in the preseason. Starks' return to Green Bay comes after a visit to Pittsburgh, where the backfield is much less crowded.
