The Jaguars signed Doss today. A restricted free agent, Doss became unrestricted when the Ravens didn't offer him a tender.

Doss led the NFL last year with a 15.6-yard average on punt returns. Doss, 24, has played 35 NFL games in three years (all for Baltimore) and has 26 catches and 27 punt returns. Doss said he will get a chance to compete at the punt return spot. Ace Sanders could be in line for regular No. 3 receiver duty and the coaches may think taking punt returns off his plate would be beneficial. The Jaguars finished last in 2013 in punt returns. Last year, Doss started two games for the Ravens had 19 catches for 305 yards. He also returned 23 punts. "When I was able to play every other series and get into a rhtyhm, I think I showed I could do a little bit," he said. "But there's a lot more. ..." He just might get a chance to prove that in Jacksonville.
