Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The 27-year-old Manningham was a third-round draft pick of the Giants in 2008 and played four years there. In his best season, 2010, he caught 60 passes for 944 yards and nine touchdowns. The Giants would love to see Manningham regain the form he demonstrated then. But that's not a given. Manningham was a disappointment after signing with the 49ers in 2012. His first season was off to a disappointing start even before he suffered a torn ACL. And in 2013 he was slow to recover from that injury and was a non-factor when he did return, catching just nine passes before going on injured reserve for the second year in a row. Still, as PFT's Michael David Smith reminded readers, Manningham has a good rapport with Eli Manning and is a natural to help fill the hole left by
Hakeem Nicks' free-agent departure.
