As the Redzone.org notes, the Rams are usually the first team linked to Johnson because of HC Jeff Fisher. But the Rams have second-year man to be Zac Stacy, who just missed the 1,000-yard mark in his rookie season after earning the starting job in Week 5 of the 2013 season. Meanwhile, trading for Johnson means paying at least some portion of the $8 million salary due him in 2014. Until Johnson shows a real willingness to take a pay cut, the reported (growing) interest in him will remain interest and not action. Worth noting, after the Cardinals were mentioned as another possible destination, Arizona Republic staffer Kent Somers quickly reported they aren't interested. ... Stay tuned.
