Davenport visited the Dolphins on Tuesday. Davenport was limited to five games last season because of injury but has put up impressive statistics during his four seasons with Green Bay after being a fourth-round pick in 2002.

Davenport, playing mostly as a backup, has rushed for 1,068 yards on 217 carries in his career, averaging 4.9 yards per carry. He also has four touchdowns. The Packers' decision to re-sign Ahman Green -- and Samkon Gado's emergence late last year -- make it unlikely Davenport will return to the Pack.
