Well. ... It's being reported again, but this isn't actually new. In fact, Silver's NFL Network colleague Ian Rapoport is among the many who have already reported that the Texans quarterback
is on GM Reggie McKenzie's radar. Schaub is being shopped by the Texans, but interested teams such as the Raiders, Browns and Jets are not likely to take action until he's released (
thanks in large part to the $10 million in base salary Schaub currently boasts). It might be worth noting that McKenzie told the Oakland Tribune this week he has a "really good idea" who his next quarterback will be, but he's not giving away any hints. ... Meanwhile, we'll remind you that Josh Freeman and Mark Sanchez have been mentioned as possible targets for Oakland, too.
