More Details On DeSean Jackson's Belief His Run With Eagles Is Over
(3/21 6:29 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on a previous item. ... Jackson believes his time in Philadelphia is coming to an end. One of his top confidants relayed that Jackson is now “pretty much convinced” that he will not return. Per one source, three teams have been mentioned as possible landing spots: New England, San Francisco and Seattle.  Reported by Philly.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PhillyMag.com's Tim McManus reports, it is unclear whether there is legitimate interest from any of these three teams, only that they are the names that are being mentioned within Jackson’s inner-circle. Other reports have mentioned the Jets (who just signed Michael Vick to compete for the starting quarterback job), Raiders and Panthers as potential suitors, though the general feeling among Panthers reporters is that a trade to Carolina is unlikely. As McManus stressed, all the above represents a change in perception from even just a few days ago. But Jackson's concerns, which began following a wave of reports suggesting he could be on the outs in Philly, was heightened by the fact that he had not received any assurances from HC Chip Kelly or the Eagles organization (though McManus reports they have apparently spoken with his agent, Joel Segal, in recent days). Whatever the case, Jackson has gone from being uncertain about his future with the Eagles to firmly believing he will be elsewhere next season. And the owners meetings set to start next week could provide some clarity one way or the other.
