Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Titans continue to shop the veteran running back, and indications are some teams have shown interest, but HC Ken Whisenhunt reiterated on Tuesday there's no timetable to determine Johnson's future. The beginning of the offseason program April 7 could force the issue, however. Johnson is scheduled to make $8 million in base salary in 2014. If he showed up for the offseason program and suffered a season-ending injury during workouts, the Titans could be on the hook for the total. ... Meanwhile, Johnson is focused on being ready to play. He ran Monday for the first time since having surgery in January to repair a torn meniscus. It was the first surgery of his six-year career. "I feel good … I expect to be back and stronger than ever," he said. "I think I will probably come back even faster. ..." Fortunately, fantasy football owners have some time to see how this plays out.
