Sanchez arrived in Philadelphia on Wednesday night to have his surgically repaired shoulder and knee checked out by Eagles team doctors. Jets HC Rex Ryan believes Sanchez will recapture an NFL starting job, but it won't happen during the start of his tenure in Philadelphia. Nick Foles was a breakout star in Chip Kelly's offense last season and is the clear-cut starter. According to NFL.com, Sanchez slides into a defined backup role ahead of Matt Barkley, who likely will remain the team's developmental quarterback in his second season.
