Michael Bush To Visit Patriots
(3/31 10:36 PT)

The Facts:
The Patriots, who lost some of their enviable running back depth when LeGarrette Blount signed with Pittsburgh, are taking a look at a tailback in Blount’s mold. Bush is slated to meet with New England, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported on Monday night. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Bush (6-1, 245) rushed for 197 yards and three TDs on 63 carries for Chicago in 2013. The Bears released the 29-year-old tailback on March 10. As PFT's Mike Wilkening notes, even without the 6-foot, 250-pound Blount, the Patriots are in good shape at running back, with Stevan Ridley, Shane Vereen and Brandon Bolden all capable players. However, Bush would give the Patriots another veteran option at the position. It’s also possible the Patriots could add a back in the draft, as Ridley and Vereen are free agents after the 2014 season.
