ongoing story. ... The Redskins are the favorite to win the Jackson sweepstakes because they are the only team to schedule a visit with him. Day 2 of that visit is underway. Meetings with Redskins coaches are on tap, while Jackson plans to meet with owner Dan Snyder and general manager Bruce Allen on Tuesday afternoon, according to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.

Despite a report from Philadelphia that Jackson is going to join the Redskins (PhillyMag.com's Tim McManus repoted it was a "
done deal" Monday night, Rapoport said the sides haven't even talked numbers yet. Again, ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting the same on SportsCenter this morning. ... That said, the Redskins have a good chance to land Jackson. He went out for dinner with the team Monday night, and then DeAngelo Hall, Pierre Garcon and D.C. rapper Wale took Jackson out on the town after that. ... Stay tuned.
