Jets Sign Former Raiders WR Jacoby Ford
(4/1 3:58 PT)

The Facts:
The Jets signed their second unrestricted free agent wide receiver Tuesday, adding Ford to a WR corps that has already been bolstered by the arrival of Eric Decker.  Reported by NewYorkJets.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
A threat in space, Ford could also have the opportunity to become the Jets’ primary kickoff return man. Ford will be reunited with former Raiders WR coach Sanjay Lal in New York. The 5-9, 190-pound Ford has averaged 14.9 yards on his 57 career receptions. He also has four career kick return touchdowns and set a Raiders single-season record with three in 2010. Last season, Ford caught 13 balls for 99 yards in Oakland. He also had the first nine punt returns of his career, averaging 8.6 yards. The speedster ran a 4.28-second 40-yard dash at the 2010 scouting combine. Still, he ended last season as a healthy scratch for the Raiders. There's room for him to compete in New York, but fantasy football owners shouldn't get too excited.
