Agent Expects Chris Johnson's Release
(4/3 12:21 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... After speaking with Titans management Wednesday, agent Joel Segal told SiriusXM NFL Radio that it's only a "matter of time" before the organization cuts ties with Johnson. Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Surprised by the Eagles' release of his client DeSean Jackson, Segal was reluctant to guess whether Johnson would be leaving Nashville via trade or cut. It would be a surprise if the Titans find a taker for Johnson's $8 million salary in 2014. Once he's released, the Jets are expected to be first in line for his services -- and at this point they seem to be the only team interested. ... Stay tuned. The consensus suggests that CJ2K will be unemployed on or before next Monday to keep him from reporting for OTAs (and putting the Titans on the financial hook if he's injured taking part in them).
