the Titans cut Johnson. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Johnson currently is expected to pick his next team by the middle of next week.

PFT's Mike Florio went on to advise readers it’s still unclear where Johnson will land, although the strongest link appears to be to the Jets. Since the Titans spent most of last month trying to trade him, interested teams have had plenty of time to assess his value. Florio believes the fact that a land rush apparently hasn’t immediately emerged for Johnson could be a bad sign. And if there aren’t multiple teams with a high level of motivation to get Johnson, it will be hard for agent Joel Segal to get a significant offer. ... Stay tuned.
