HC John Harbaugh isn't the only one "excited" by the Ravens' additions this offseason. "It's a new year, a new beginning and a chance to do new things," Flacco said on Saturday. "I'm always excited. I think we've got a good team and an offense that can put up some numbers. So it's just on us to do it."

The Ravens locked up tight end Dennis Pitta, added Owen Daniels, signed five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Steve Smith, re-signed receiver Jacoby Jones, kept Eugene Monroe at left tackle and traded for center Jeremy Zuttah.Those additions, along with bringing in new offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak, have Flacco eager to start the path back to the playoffs. Last season Flacco was hampered by the loss of Anquan Boldin, Pitta's hip injury, a terrible offensive line and a feeble running game. General manager Ozzie Newsome attempted to address each of those failures this offseason and the results should serve Flacco well.
