The Facts:

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The 26-year-old Freeman struggled throughout last season. He lost his starting job and roster spot after three games with Tampa Bay, which released the 2009 first-round pick on October 3. The Vikings signed Freeman, but in his lone start, he completed just 20-of-53 passes, and he suffered a concussion. Ultimately, he didn’t play again for the Vikings. ... Now, with the Bears on the hunt for a backup to Jay Cutler, Freeman would certainly bring starting experience to a depth chart that currently has Jerrod Johnson and Jordan Palmer behind Cutler. And as PFT's Mike Wilkening notes, in Chicago, Freeman would have the benefit of working with HC Marc Trestman, who is renowned for his tutelage of quarterbacks.
