The Vikings have signed Jean, the team announced Tuesday. Reported by the Minneapolis Star Tribune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jean spent the first three years of his career with the Houston Texans, who signed him as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2011. He spent the 2011 season on injured reserve then played 27 games for them over the past two seasons. The 26-year-old has 10 career catches for 186 yards and a touchdown. He had four catches for 35 yards last season. The Texans did not tender him as a restricted free agent after the season. Jean, who is listed at 6-3, presumably will compete for a roster spot then potentially snaps behind Cordarrelle Patterson, Greg Jennings, Jarius Wright and Jerome Simpson.
