The Vikings have said nothing about the chances of them matching Seattle's offer for Nate Burleson, or how long they might take to decide. Still, the decision to allow Burleson to leave in exchange for a third-round draft choice seems to be less a question of if but when.

responded in kind with two poison-pills in the Burleson offer. The NFL office has had no comment, but league officials can't pleased with offers including clauses calling for contracts to be guaranteed if, for example, a player plays five games in any season in Minnesota, as Burleson's does. ... It's safe to assume these offers will be discusses at this week's NFL owners meeting in Orlando.
