No Holmes, But Chiefs Get Solid Turnout For Voluntary Workouts
(3/28 9:36 PT)

The Facts:
Eddie Kennison said there was a big turnout for the workouts, which aren't mandatory. Among the notables in attendance were Larry Johnson, whom new coach Herm Edwards has asked to be a leader, and veteran guard Will Shields. Among the missing was Priest Holmes, who suffered a neck injury at midseason. Even before the injury, Holmes usually stayed in Texas to train. Reported by the Kansas City Star

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Recent reports, however, have indicated that Holmes, who continues to undergo medical testing, hasn't put forth the effort as he normally does on his own early in the year. The team downplayed his absence. "He'll be in and out, probably more out than in," Edwards said of Holmes. "He can't do anything at this point, anyway."
