The Facts:
Nick Saban wasn't at team headquarters for Monday's start to the Dolphins' offseason program, but he provided a medical update on Culpepper, who is recovering from three torn knee ligaments. "He did some straight-line running. He threw the ball some. He took some easy drops," said Saban. "It's not like this guy is not at a point where he can't start doing some things."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Saban said he was still uncertain whether Culpepper will be ready for the Sept. 7 regular-season opener at Pittsburgh. Saban, though, said he believes Culpepper's experience playing in a similar offense with Minnesota from 2002-04 should accelerate his return. Nonetheless, Saban is intent on
adding an experienced veteran at the position just in case.
