Told that by a reporter at the NFL owners meeting that fans will be shocked if Frye is not the Browns' starting QB in 2006, Romeo Crennel said: "Well, they've been shocked before." While those who follow the team closely -- including GM Phil Savage -- expect Frye to be the man this year, Crennel has steadfastly maintained that he has not decided yet who his starting quarterback is. "If I knew," the coach said, "why wouldn't I just go ahead and say?"
