Nate Burleson Officially A Seahawk
(3/31 7:41 PT)

The Facts:
The Vikings failed to match the seven-year, $49 million offer sheet Burleson signed with the Seahawks. Vikings vice president for football operations Rob Brzezinski confirmed the decision, which allowed Burleson to join his hometown team. Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Two poison pills -- including one that would have guaranteed the contract if he played five games in the state of Minnesota -- influenced the Vikings' decision not to match. The Seahawks wanted Burleson, a restricted free agent, because of his speed and athleticism. The Seahawks owe the Vikings a third-round pick, based on Burleson's draft position in 2003.
