The Facts:
Williams returned to South Florida on Monday, ostensibly to join the Dolphins' off-season conditioning program, even as the specter of an NFL suspension continues to haunt him. Williams, who faces a one-year ban for a positive test in the NFL's substance abuse program if an appeals hearing doesn't go his way April 10, arrived on request from Nick Saban.

Saban wanted Williams to join his teammates because the program took a jump in importance Monday when coaches began classroom and on-field teaching. The Dolphins' offense isn't expected to change significantly in 2006 but new offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey is trying to become familiar with his players.
