During a press conference held early this morning at his charity golf tournament in Tunica, Miss., Favre told reporters that "nothing has changed." In other words, the veteran signal caller isn't ready to announce whether he'll play another season with the Packers or not. "I know people are getting impatient," he said. "Enjoy baseball right now. ... This will work itself out."

Those close to Favre hinted that he would announce his decision -- which he's been putting off all offseason -- this morning. He added to the intrigue by showing up nearly an hour late for the presser he called -- only to make no announcement. Well played. ... For the record, Favre continued to dance around the issue of a timetable for his announcement -- even after suggesting late in the week that a decision could come this weekend or early next week. ...
