The Facts:
With linebacker Takeo Spikes and cornerback Nate Clements not expected to attend, McGahee was the most notable absentee during the team's first mini-camp. McGahee missed the first day because of a prior commitment, but Dick Jauron anticipated McGahee's arrival on Saturday. Instead, McGahee remained home in Miami. "We love Willis. We'd just love him a little more if he had been here," Jauron said.

The coach added he has no doubt that McGahee is working hard and pointed out the star halfback participated in the first week and a half of the off-season program. Jauron expects the McGahee to attend the next mini-camp. ... For the record, the
