The Seahawks are wrapping up a two-day free-agent visit today with Martin, his agent confirmed Tuesday. Martin already has visited with the Bengals, and his agent has had conversations with the Dolphins.

Martin, 36, has 13 seasons of NFL experience -- most with th Rams. He also has played for the Jaguars. He presumably would be the Seahawks' No. 3 quarterback, with his experience allowing him to be the backup for games in which the Seahawks use current backup Seneca Wallace in another role. Wallace's athletic ability could allow the Seahawks to try him at receiver or return specialist.
