After the first day of the Lions voluntary mini-camp, one thing is becoming clear: Head coach Rod Marinelli and his coaching staff aren't interested in making friends. Not with the players. Not with the media.

According to Tom Kowalski, compared to recent Lions mini-camps, there was a remarkable difference in tempo, intensity and volume during the first 45 minutes of Tuesday's workout. The rest of the sessions, when the Lions were in "team" drills, were off limits to the media. "It was the first day and I wanted to give the coaches a chance to be themselves," Marinelli said. ... Sounds like a major adjustment for all involved -- including Fantasy owners.
