The Facts:
ESPN.com's Michael Smith, appearing live on ESPN's daily "Draft Special" show, just advised viewers that Collins is the likely fall-back option for both the Titans and Ravens -- depending on where McNair winds up.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Smith, the Titans will sign Collins as a short-term starter (while their first pick in this weekend's draft) gets up to speed -- even if that's just a game or two. That, of course, is assuming McNair is ultimately released by the Titans and signs with the Ravens (as is widely expected). If, for some reason, McNair remains in Tennessee (unlikely as that might seem), Collins would join former Giants head coach and current Ravens offensive coordinator Jim Fassel in Baltimore. ... It makes sense.
