According to his NFL.com scouting report, Calhoun can bounce runs outside when the middle is clogged up, and can cut back through the backside hole well. But he'll have to battle Kevin Jones and Shawn Bryson for touches in Detroit while proving his diminutive size (5-9, 202) isn't an issue.
