In his first public comments since an ESPN report last Thursday claimed he had asked the team to
restructure his contract or trade him, Driver said on Saturday he had never made those statements and intended to fully honor his contract. "Whoever said that story, they don't know anything because they never talked to me," he said.

Driver, who has two years remaining on his contract (with salaries of $1.36 million next season and $1.84 million in 2007), did say he's talked to team officials about an extension. Driver, who intends to be on hand for an upcoming mini-camp, said there was no timeline on completing his contract extension and he intended to play at least the next two seasons in Green Bay.
