The Facts:
Although the team has yet to confirm, the Saints could be without McAllister for as many as the next five weeks. McAllister suffered a "high ankle sprain," the kind of injury that sidelined former Saints running back Ricky Williams for six weeks in his rookie season.

Although we're awaiting confirmation of this report -- an MRI is pending, it certainly looks like McAllister will miss significant time. Making matters worse, Aaron Stecker, McAllister's replacement, hurt an ankle working in relief Sunday. ... Stay tuned. More as developments warrant.
