The Facts:
With strong backing from Jeff Fisher and OC Norm Chow, the Titans snagged White with their second-round draft pick yesterday. However, White is still dealing with a tear in the middle of his right hamstring and Fisher estimated his recovery could take until mid-June.

Fisher characterized White as a strong inside-outside runner and team officials seem to believe White, who claims to weigh 240 right now, can help them get back to the power rushing style of Eddie George's heyday. ... Also, like most players who drop in the draft and are taken lower than expected, White said he'll remember all the teams that passed on him. "Right now I'm working with a 31-team chip on my shoulder," he said.
