Trent Dilfer Says He Happy In Cleveland
(5/2 9:12 PT)

The Facts:
Dilfer has not asked the Browns to release him or to trade him, he said Monday. "I have not asked for anything," Dilfer said, adding he is very happy playing for the Browns. Dilfer was responding to reports that the Browns tried to acquire quarterbacks Joey Harrington and Marques Tuiasosopo during draft weekend.  Reported by the Akron Beacon Journal

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
GM Phil Savage also insists there's no reason to believe Dilfer is unhappy or wants to move on. But where there's smoke one often finds fire. And as Profootballtalk.com Mike Florio suggests, Savage needs to pretend that he wants to keep Dilfer in order to ensure that the team will get something for him in return.
