The Facts:
The Broncos and Walker have reached agreement on the parameters of a five-year, $42 million contract that includes close to $15 million worth of guaranteed money in options and bonuses, and just over $24 million in the contract's first three years. All that is left for the Broncos and Walker's agent to iron out is some of the language.

According to NFL Network insider Adam Schefter, signing is, at this point, a formality. The deal is expected to be finalized in the next 24-72 hours, and Walker will sign it once he arrives at the Broncos training facility on May 8. Schefter added, the deal also includes standard contract language that protects the Broncos in the unlikely event that Walker cannot return from the season-ending knee injury he suffered last year.
