The Facts:
In a Tuesday pre-mini-camp press conference, Leftwich appeared to be leaner than he was last year, and he said the broken ankle that sidelined him for the final five regular-season games last year has completely healed.

Except for conceding that he has lost weight in the offseason, Leftwich, listed at 6-feet-5 and 240 pounds, wouldn't say what his current weight is. ... As he enters his fourth season, Leftwich has dealt with questions about everything from his weight to his throwing motion to his ability to stay healthy. The fact he's 21-17 as a starter and threw just five interceptions in 302 attempts last year has tended to be obscured.
