The Dolphins acquired Harrington from Detroit today for a conditional sixth-round pick in the 2007 draft. The pick can increase to a fifth-round pick if Harrington receives significant playing time.

Harrington is expected to join the team this weekend in time for practices with the Dolphins next week. The former first-round draft pick comes on board as insurance against the possibility (some might say likelihood) that Daunte Culpepper's surgically-repaired knee isn't ready to go when the regular season opens.
