The Facts:
The Jaguars hit the field for their first post-Jimmy Smith practice with Matt Jones lined up as the "X" receiver, the spot Smith filled the last 11 years. Ernest Wilford started opposite Jones on Friday, maintaining the spot he took over from Reggie Williams midway through last season.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The 6-6 Jones caught 36 passes for 432 yards and five TDs last season. He only had nine catches in the final six games, but his drop-off coincided with Byron Leftwich's ankle injury. When Leftwich returned for the team's postseason loss at New England, Jones caught six passes for 94 yards. He should get even more opportunities this fall without Smith. ... And with the Jags employing several three-receiver sets, Williams should be on the field significantly more in his third season.
