Wideout Todd Pinkston said he won't be running patterns in this mini-camp, as he recovers from Achilles' tendon surgery. Pinkston said he hopes to participate in the mini-camp that starts June 1.

Pinkston, who missed all of last season, will battle newcomer Jabar Gaffney for the No. 2 wideout spot, opposite second-year man Reggie Brown. Pinkston's late start might be enough for the somewhat more physical Gaffney to get an edge in the competition.
