Todd Pinkston (Achilles) is expected to be back at work when the Eagles stage another mini-camp next month. Buckhalter, on the other hand, will not be ready. "Most likely, he'll be ready for training camp," Andy Reid said Monday after the team closed its first off-season camp. "We will just see how he progresses."

Buckhalter, who has missed two straight seasons and three of the last four because of serious knee injuries, is definitely not a player the Eagles can count on as they prepare for the 2006 season. Instead, they have to look at any contribution they get from the running back as an unexpected bonus.
