Mike Williams 10 Pounds Lighter Than Last Year
(5/18 9:30 PT)

The Facts:
Williams already is about 10 pounds less than his rookie playing weight of 234 pounds. Williams said he has changed his eating habits and been more concerned with conditioning. He feels better at a lower weight. "Heck yeah, definitely," Williams said. "You cut better. You're more fluid." Reported by the Detroit News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
He'd better be. ... Mike Martz relied on smaller, faster, shiftier wideouts during his tenure in St. Louis and recent reports hinting at the Lions' interest in Ex-Ram Az-Zahir Hakim. Even teammates realize the need for a player with Hakim's skills. "We watch him on film now," Roy Williams said. "We needed him as that little slot guy that can wiggle and move. You can't really wiggle and move in the West Coast offense like you can in this offense here. ..." For what it's worth, a decision is likely to come soon on whether Hakim will sign for a second tour with the Lions.
