With Ahman Green and Najeh Davenport out with injuries, Gado has been the No. 1 halfback throughout the offseason. And given time, we suspect Gado will indeed get a better feel for the scheme. ... It's worth noting, however, that the new staff hasn't totally abandoned former coach Mike Sherman's scheme completely. In fact, the Packers ran their signature play, "96 power," in practice Saturday and will incorporate it along with the new zone plays.
