Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Saints are seeking to upgrade their veteran depth at wide receiver and it is still yet to be determined who will fill the role as the team's No. 3 wideout behind starters Joe Horn and Donte' Stallworth (who is no longer being shopped). The leading veteran candidate for the No. 3 spot appears to be Devery Henderson. But Thompson has experience in the No. 3 role and could compete for the job, even after a full season away from the game.
