The grievance that the Lions filed against Rogers, trying to reclaim about $10 million of his $14.4 million rookie signing bonus, is expected to be heard next month. But no matter how it is resolved, Rogers still is expected to be with the team in training camp.

According to NFL Network insider Adam Schefter, the team has made the decision to bring Rogers, the second overall pick in the 2003 draft, to training camp and give him a chance to try to display the vast talents he has. There was some talk the Lions would trade or release him, but there was scant interest around the league in Rogers and Detroit wants to see if Mike Martz's offense can help the wide receiver reach his potential.
